Only through the grace of my mentor, Boundless Joy Aussies, have I had the pleasure of working with Soul, my heart dog.

Soul is a wonderfully driven Aussie with an incredible off switch. He as tender and sweet with both children and animals, naturally protective of those in his care, and always eager to have job to do. He is capable of taking on whatever I ask of him and takes genuine pride in doing it.

He truly believes himself to be a ranch dog, and while he may prefer a day spent working alongside his people, he has proven that versatility extends to the showring as well. When given the opportunity, Soul carries himself beautifully in the ring and is currently just one a 3pt major away from earning his Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA) championship.

Above all, Soul embodies the balance we value at Astralvale: Drive without being difficult, capability without sacrificing an off switch, and a working spirit wrapped in an incredibly loving dog.
